Coach's Corner
Pre-Game Checklist
- Arrive to the fields early to chalk the field. You are responsible for chalking your team's field however if assistance is needed (i.e. think you might run late, will not be at the game), please contact Jason Abram at (970) 623-3721 as soon as possible (4 hours or more is preferred).
- Before the start of the game, make sure all rakes are moved from inside the field and gates are latched.
- Clean up any trash or sticks that have blown onto the field
- Check in with the Board Member on Duty (BMOD)
During Game Visiting and Home Coaches
- Good sportsmanship is REQUIRED from players and coaches. It is up to you to enforce it, please do so.
- For safety reasons please keep players in the dugout if not playing in the field, on base, or at bat.
- The rules are by the book with the exceptions listed in the interleague rule.
- If any issues arise please contact the BMOD.
Post-Game Checklist Visiting and Home Coaches
- Clean dugouts and put trash in the dumpster.
- Remove bases (top pad and posted platform), and replace with black or orange post plugs.
- Rake around plugs and home plate, filling in holes if needed.
- Screen drag and water the infield if needed. (Contact Jason Abram at 970-623-3721 if you need assistance).
- Put Mule away and lock up sheds.
